The Hope Invitational 2014
As many of you know our desire to fundraise for The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation first began when my son Aaron was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in September 2002.
When coach Melanie joined our gym family last year and we learned that her brother Brett was fighting brain cancer the idea for The Hope Invitational was born.
Unfortunately as many of you know, Brett passed away this past January. This has only strengthened our resolve to use our talents and resources to the best of our ability to help the PBTF fund research to help other young people diagnosed with brain tumors.
The Hope Invitational will be held April 12/13th at the Highland School in Warrenton, VA and will feature a USA Gymnastics sanctioned women's competition as well as a demonstration for our recreational athletes. Our fundraising efforts include corporate and individual donations, raffles, a sleepover for the our gymnasts, as well as the entry fees for The Hope Invitational. 100% of the funds raised throughout the event will go directly to the PBTF.
Please considering joining our effort, all donations large or small are appreciated and tax deductible!!
