• Starry Night Boston

Light up the nighttime sky in Boston to symbolize our shared hope for a cure. Help the PBTF keep the stars in the sky and our kids on this Earth!

Starry Night Boston

Welcome to our first Starry Night Boston! This is one in a series of events the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is launching in major cities across the country. Join us to fundraise for this 8.5K walk/run to shine a light on the 28,000 American children living with a brain tumor.

  • When: October 18, 2014
  • Where: Joe Moakley Park
  • Map: Google Map

Registration at 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Walk/run starts at 4 p.m.

Join us to light Boston’s nighttime sky with lanterns to symbolize our hope for a cure. Starry Night Boston will raise funds for research to combat more than 100 types of childhood brain tumors, and will support services for families at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Participants may choose to complete the 8.5K course as an individual or as part of a relay team, with each team member completing one lap. The evening also features a 50-yard dash, other activities for kids and local entertainment. Plus, we’ll highlight the story of a child with a brain tumor diagnosis and honor a local childhood brain tumor hero.
